Libya Herald reports that a unit of army engineers has repaired and re-activated the Kufra radar defence system, which had been out of action for several years.
The work took two weeks, and the system will be used to monitor Libyan border airspace and protect the Kufra area from threats or any suspicious movements.
The radar system is now functioning and work is now being carried out on maintenance to the camp site.
