The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has announced opportunities for the pre-qualification of interested, experienced and reputable national and international companies specialising in providing the services outlined below. Companies are invited to submit full electronic files including all requirements for inclusion in the bidders list to be invited to participate in the tender:

Solar Energy Study at AGOCO Fields

Scope of Work:

The Arabian Gulf Oil Company intends to perform an engineering study with the aim to explore the possibilities to use the solar energy technologies in at least three of AGOCO oil fields either for power generation and/or to produce steam to enhance oil recovery (EOR). The assessment shall help AGOCO to identify a suitable, cost effective and efficient CSP and/or PV technologies.

The selected and agreed scheme will be further developed in an engineering package for supply and/or construction document.

The successful bidder shall adhere to standard specifications and technical requirements, which include the scope of work and to all of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company standards, government regulations and industry code of practice in the oil and gas area.

Qualification requirements:

Interested companies for the above tender must satisfy the stipulated requirements and submit the required information below. Failure to submit any of the under listed documents will render automatic disqualification:

Letter on Company's letterhead Addressed to the ""Chairman of the Sub Tender Committee STC 1-13/24" stating expression of interest on the respective tender.

The legal status of the company (Valid copy of Company Registration in Libya, specialization and Tax department declaration) in accordance with the Libyan laws and procedures.
