Libya Herald reports that the cabinet has approved the Civil Aviation Authority's proposals for major maintenance work at Tripoli International Airport and Sebha Airport.
The work will be carried out by Tripoli's Africa Engineering Company and by Brazilian contractor Odebrecht.
Odebrecht originally won the project at the capital’s airport in 2007 as part of a joint venture through its Portuguese subsidiary Bento Pedroso Construcoes (BPC), with Turkey’s TAV and Lebanon’s Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), which each held a 25 percent share of the contract.
