Tunisair has begun twice-weekly flights between Tobruk in Libya and Tunis.
The 1,370-kilometre route operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays using the airline’s 126-seat, all-economy-class 737-600s.
Tobruk is the airline’s sixth destination in Libya, joining Tripoli (28 weekly flights), Benghazi (21 weekly flights), Misrata (six weekly flights), Beida (four weekly flights) and Sebha (twice-weekly flights).
Competition on the Tobruk service is provided by Libyan Airlines with twice-weekly flights.
