Nataliya Apostolova, Head of the European Union Delegation to Libya, along with staff from the delegation, recently visited Zintan and exchanged views and opinions with the Chairman and members of Zintan Local Council on the political and security situations in Libya in general, and on the challenges facing the Council in particular.
The Ambassador and the staff also visited an EU-funded humanitarian aid project for the internally displaced people (IDPs) around Zintan.
Mrs. Wafa Abu Nass, Director of the office of Displaced People of the Prime Minister’s Bureau, accompanied the Amabssador during the visit. Apostolova and Abu Nass discussed further cooperation to meet the specific needs of the IDPs.
