The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Dr Nuri Berruien [Nuri Balrwin] has met the French Ambassador to Libya, Mr Antoine Sivan, and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting addressed relations between the two countries in general, and between the NOC and French companies working in oil sector, in particular the projects and the activity of Total.
Dr Balrwin praised the efforts of Total and its business in Libya, especially the starting of offshore drilling.
During the meeting the two parties discussed prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries in petroleum industry and discuss future plans and investments in exploration and production as well as manufacturing and refining.
