ROCS Group, the official franchiser of the cosmetics company Inglot in Malta, Libya and Yemen, has opened a new store in Benghazi.
Colin Aquilina, ROCS Group’s Head of Finance and Business Development, said:
“After the opening of our second Inglot outlet in Libya’s capital, it felt natural that we should open another one in the country’s second biggest city.”
A flourishing economic hub in both the Arab world as well as in the Mediterranean, Benghazi has recently experienced a revival and is now home to some of the world’s top brands.
“Ever since the Arab Spring, Benghazi – just like other cities around the country – has had a lot to deal with, but business is getting back on track and the city is slowly flourishing once again,” explains Aquilina.
“Libya, as a whole, is a fantastic emerging market and together with our dear friend and Libyan partner Abdurazzaq Elmanfi, we are currently working on opening another two outlets one in Tripoli and another one in a city yet to be confirmed within end of year, which will bring the total number of outlets in Libya to five.”
