The oil port of Es Sider, may reopen in August after the new Parliament takes office, reports Business Times.
A spokesman for the Executive Office for Barqa, the rebel group that shut the facility almost a year ago, said:
"It's possible to solve all issues and get to an agreement to reopen Es Sider and Ras Lanuf when the new Parliament starts working, God willing, after Ramadan."
Barqa seeks self-rule for the region also known as Cyrenaica.
