At least 13 people have been killed and 45 wounded in fighting between rival militias in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi. One group has launched a new attempt to take the city's main airport.
And Libya's elected parliament has asked the outgoing prime minister to form a new government, just days after he resigned.
The outgoing cabinet, operating in Tobruk, has acknowledged it's lost control of Tripoli to powerful militias there.
