Reuters reports that an employee of the Mellitah Oil & Gas company has been kidnapped.
The captive was named as Yousef al-Shoumani, a member of the company’s administrative management team.
Mellitah Oil & Gas is a joint venture between the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Italy's Eni.
