Libya Herald reports that a feud between families is believed to have been responsible for cutting power to parts of Tripoli, when a fuel tank at Khoms power station was hit during exchanges of fire.
State electricity company GECOL shut down the 450 MW plant as black smoke billowed from a burning diesel tank.
The fighting involves the Khoms military council and another local brigade calling itself “The Truth Martyrs”. It is understood to have been kindled by a family dispute.
