Libya Herald reports that Tunisia has officially appointed a new consul to Tripoli.
A spokesperson for the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the news agency that Kacem Guesmi is expected to arrive in Tripoli "soon".
Tunisia closed its Libyan embassy in June 2014 after ten of its diplomats were kidnapped.
