Two Italians and a Canadian are reported to have been kidnapped in southwestern Libya on Monday.
The men, who were abducted on the road linking Tahala and Ghat, were working for the Italian construction company CON.I.COS (Contratti lnternazionali Costruzioni S.p.A).
The company is currently working on a project to re-pave Ghat Airport (pictured).
It is believed that al-Qaeda is not behind the abduction.
