The World Health Organization (WHO) country office in Libya has delivered ten International Emergency Health kits (IEHK) to Sabha Medical Center.
The standardized kits of essential medicines, supplies and equipment were procured with financial assistance from European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO).
One kit is designed to meet the basic health needs of 10,000 people for approximately 3 months. In addition, ten Trauma kits were also provided to the Center which can treat more than 1000 moderate and serious injuries.
WHO would like to thank ECHO for its continued commitment to support the humanitarian health needs in Libya.
